" Hereditary" [29th day]

I told you yesterday that I would share with you more detail about the last blog yesterday. But I got one interesting thing to talk to you about today, so let me postpone that later. Today, I invited him to my room to watch a movie after having dinner together. I didn't have a specific movie I wanted to watch, so I asked him what mood he was in. He said he wanted to watch a kind of horror movie and supposed a movie called "Hereditary," saying he heard of it as an extremely horrifying movie. I also heard of it, and I've seen a movie called "Midsummer," directed by Ari Aster, the same director as "Hereditary."
"Midsummer" was selling well in Japan last year, so I think many of you know about or have watched it. I watched it at a theater last year and was shocked by its content. I don't explain it in detail here, but, to cut to the chase, it has a unique frightening sense and is really shocking. I was also interested in "Hereditary" because I like "Midsummer," so it was good timing. Then, we were on the same page and decided to watch it. I don't want to talk too much, so you don't know specific details before watching, so I'm giving you the synopsis. The story is about a family who lost their grandmother from illness. She was a person or wrapped in a veil, which means she didn't open what she did and keep it secret even from her family. She was also a tragic woman who lost her husband in an accident when she just gave birth to a daughter and her son by suicide when he was 15 years old. After she died, the life of her family was getting crazy...... I can't talk to you anymore because it will lead to a spoiler. However, while watching, my roommate and I took a breath and screamed many times, and we were sweat just after the end. The film was very crazy and extremely horrifying. It illustrates human fierce as it is very well, and the story's progression was always out of my imagination. It was a really good movie, even though I don't wanna watch it again, lol.
