Fresh Asian Super Marcket [51st day]
Hello. It's Illinois Panda.
I'm gonna tell you about a grocery store I visited 2 days ago. It's not a typical supermarket but an Asian international supermarket called Fresh. It's a bit far from the campus, but you can take a bus everywhere on campus to there. I've been missing and lacking in Japanese food since I came to the U.S., so I was looking forward to visiting there. Once I entered Fresh, I couldn't believe my eyes immediately. There were tons of Asian food of every genre, such as rice, meat, sweets, snacks, frozen food, and cup noodles. I moved around the shop to every corner and got impressed by so much food I'm familiar with. However, the prices were higher than in Japan because it costs to import the items; therefore, I chose what I'd bought seriously considering the constraint of my budget.
