Trip to Chicago [69th day]

Hi. It's Illinois Panda.

This is the first day of the trip to Chicago! I haven't been to Chicago except that I landed at the Chicago O'hare airport. This is the first trip since I came to the U.S. and have been really looking forward to going around downtown. I left the campus in the evening with my roommate and headed to Chicago by bus. I've arrived at a bus stop in the Woodsmall parking lot, a large shopping mall. And from there, his mother drove me to their home. We had chicken sandwiches for dinner. His family welcomed me very friendly. His mother, father, younger sister, two adorable cats, and one energetic dog, all of his family warmly welcomed me, thankfully. We are going to a scientific museum and Halloween event at a theme park tomorrow. So I'm looking forward to them, having good sleep on a fancy couch.
